Finished reading 'Patriots' Very US orientated but made me realise I am woefully un-prepared in comparison-DOH!
Re-qualled my emergency medic certification and re-stocked my POM drugs. Re-packed my EDC/GHB. My BOB needs to be desparately re-packed though, hopefully over the weekend, if I am not washed away by the rain!!!

Also am moving job to Bristol, so will need to get in contact with the area co-ordinator and change my map location!

All the best,
TM

After much cussing and tyre kicking we have eventually got my car back on the road. OH's new car arrived from work and the first thing he asks me to do is make a GHB!! Try not to show too much excitement - is he finally getting it????? So, with a rucksack from ebay purchased many months ago (he was impressed with it too, more brownie points for me :D ) I constructed a kit for him. Its now in the car.
Updated my car emergency kit and transferred most of it to a rucksack (it was in a large zipped laundry bag).
Ordered 2 foldable shovels from ebay.
Priced up cheapy sleeping bags to throw in the cars too (he agreed to this too!!)

More garden produce frozen.

Had brilliant weekend with preppeing, managed to sort out garage so got more room for storage now. Next day help somebody chop down a tree a got boot full of firewood and some money for my troubles. The person I did it full also gave me an free petrol chainsaw that only needs a new chain he had two other ones so was happy to let me have it :D . Help another friend today to drain out some petrol out of his diesel car he lent to a friend who by acident put full tank of the wrong fuel in  . As he had no petrol cars I managed to get 40 litres of fuel for £20. I want to by some stab-ill to be able store fuel long term does anybody no of place where you can get it cheers.

Bought some 30 litre clear plastic storage boxes and lids - £3 each from ASDA

Edit: Just popped out and got a few more Kilner jars from Wilkinsons.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Started my personal 'winter storage' list. A list of items to store at home in the event of extreme weather screwing everything up. Food, fuel mainly.

I'll get a chance to do some shopping the week after next, for some long-term food items and non-food items.
