Hello fellow perpetuators of preparedness. My name is Abe and I live in Bonny Scotland. Been prepping for something ever since I had somewhere to put stuff.
I've recently moved from my completely isolated farmhouse to another farmhouse a mile away from a town. It's tough. I can see street lights and hear a road but I'm sure I'll get over it.
Looking to get up to speed on the latest ideas in the world of being ready, as I'm feelinga little vulnerable without my complete isolation.
I grew up on Skye, 20 miles from the neaest shop. My immediate group of friends measure their wealth in the numer of firearms they possess and the and the cubic meterage of freezer space 'real estate' they have at any one time. I have been hunting and fishing for dinner since I was a loon and I'm grateful to be living in a place where I can still do this.
My lovely wife grew up in Applecross. She used to be a chef - trained in a Michelin starred restraunt, so that's nice. However. She does not chef for a living anymore, as she went to University and got her degree in psychology.. so some interesting chats over dinner these days.. Apparently I may have a disorder. I could have told her that without 4 years of book learnin'!
I also have an underground bunker for sale if anyone is interested!
