Hello!

Post by Morgster »

Hi folks,

Not sure how active this place is yet or whether you’ve all bugged out to the local woods with the impending meltdown of society due to COVID-19. I’m guessing there may be an influx of n00bs in the new few weeks/months.
I’m just here for a look around to see how everyone is prepping for the current situation. Based in Knaresborough, fully licenced Ham operator, and outdoor kind of chap. Look forward to chatting with a few of you.
Cheers, M

Welcome to the forum, there's a few ham fans on here although that side has been quiet for a while. Hope you find the forum useful, lots of corona based chat.

Hello Morgster, welcome to the forum. I'm not a radio ham myself, but my neighbour over the road is, I have a perfect view of a ginormous aerial. I love speaking with real enthusiasts about the subject of their enthusiasm, it's wonderful.

No bugging out going on here :) it's soggy and cold out there

Haha, very true, let’s wait until the weather clears up a bit!

Those aerials will be a thing of beauty no doubt. Get a radio and licence and you can talk to your neighbour ;)
