Welcome. Could you give us a bit more detail please?
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

So I'm ex military and I have worked in RF communications since leaving, I'm also qualified in motor vehicle mechanical and electrical engineering,
I'm prepared to a degree and want to meet like minded folks and maybe form a network of friends with skills the length and breadth of the UK as you can't know where you will be when something (anything) happens I'm fairly remote where I am and I have land all round me but being remote I have some issues with pipes freezing and the like, my biggest fear i gues is just how fragile society is 🙁
EMP is a big thing for me also

That's a great set of skills you already have, Nifty, good to hear.

I guess that in an emp situation, you'd be needing a community local to you rather than the length of the UK - I think that many of us on here agree on a level of fragility in society.
