Sold some clutter at a local antique place
Acquired a pre-owned shed, going to need to replace a couple of bits of 2x2 but otherwise its sound.
Bought a long extension lead, so now I can have power in my work space without having to connect all the other leads I own together.
I've ordered pasta bolognese from "Summit to Eat", "Bla Band", "Expedition Foods" and "Adventure Food" so I can do a direct comparison of dehydrated 'camping' food (notes to be posted here)...... Any other suggestions to add to the mix ?

Tomorrow I am taking the polytunnel frame down, digging the spuds up ( enough til Christmas), bottling 5 gallons of ale,5 gallons of vino, starting 5 gallons of vino ( theres a theme there!).
However,Mrs J is still not 100% health- wise,so all the above may not happen.Definitely got to split firewood though.

I was gifted a nice set of cast iron frying pans recently so have seasoned those. Stocked up on some cheap seeds for next years harvest and have been concentrating on items besides food, cleaning stuffs and toiletries a bit more. Duct tape, glue, fuses and extra light bulbs. Bought another jerry can for additional stores of diesel and kitted out the new vehicle ready for winter. Also consulted with hubby on the tools we have and what we may need.

Already sorted with cable ties of various lengths and thicknesses. We have a pickup, its a new vehicle, it's our first and likely last new truck so the battery should be fine as should the antifreeze, but being as un-trusting as I am got hubby to test it anyway. We have always taken care of our vehicles and this one we need to be especially careful with. I havent heard of flash band though, might have to check that one out.Yorkshire Andy wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 9:03 pmMedusa wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 7:47 pm I was gifted a nice set of cast iron frying pans recently so have seasoned those. Works better in my experience with the primer too although i'm not a huge fan of the stuff . Another product that could be kept is isoflex https://www.screwfix.com/p/isoflex-isof ... &gclsrc=ds
I also keep a couple of rolls of lead to do the job properly as soon as possible.

Well after saying i'm not a huge fan of the stuff i've ended up using some flashband today. Granted still a bit of a bodge but i can't be that critical without bei g a total hypocrite.
