New prepper from Medway, Kent

Post by Medwayprep »

Hi, I’m new to this prepping thing but eager to learn more from others.

I have a scouting background for the last 30 year (from a kid) so I’m quite versed at fire lighting, shelter building etc.

I’d like to build up a network of local preppers who can educate me on what I need to learn.

Welcome to the forum. What do you plan to prep for,if you don't mind me asking?
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.

Welcome to the forum! Scouting is a good start, and as jansman says, think about what you're prepping for - there's a lot to learn on here as well, in addition to looking locally. Prepping folk are still spread quite thinly on the ground, though there may be lots of people with the same attitudes - allotment organisations, bushcraft societies, all sorts.

Be careful who you admit to your prepping network. Someone who likes being I clubs and networks but doesn't put in the homework could well come knocking on your door if SHTF!
