Maxperdition sling bag alternatives ?

Post by Citizen H »

Well its that time of year again and already their on at me..... What do you want for Xmas???

well I'm not into the whole xmas experience I just don't see it as worth while and if I'm totally honest I think its a waste of time and money.

moaning and being a Grinch to one side, has anyone any suggestions for a budget version of the Maxperdition sling bag as pictured, that has a good build quality without expense.

I know theres a few alternatives out there however rather than take pot luck has any one purchase an alternative that's worth mentioning?

any reviews / suggestions greatly welcome , cheers "H"

Have had this now for two years and use it literally all the time gets a lot more than you would think in
I carry wallet, keys, 7"tablet, my phone, huge battery powerbank and charging leads, head torch, spare batterys, Leatherman, headphones, litre big bottle of water and a first aid kit attached to the side using the ample molle points. I also have a bag with a similar capacity I attach to the front when I travel that doubles the capacity it's comfortable and has not developed any faults at all....and I'm not known for being gentle

I've got a Kombat equivalent... It's ok but a tad small for my liking but I often have 2/3 kids In tow ....

Not the most comfortable if it's stuffed full

Is Maxpedition all it’s cracked up to be or is it just the same as the cheap Chinese crap on eBay with a badge on?

I bought a 50litre Molle backpack two years ago and the zip pull things have snapped as if they were biscuit. I’m looking for a new one now, I’ve had to tie para cord loops on them all to open them.

If ONETIGRIS still make it, their brand does some good stuff. Alot cheaper then Maxpedition, more expensive then the knock-off, no named brands but the quality is alot better.

..IMO you pay for what you get. i once had a knock-off version of that same maxpedition bag and on the same day some parts of the bag litterally fell apart. Now using the maxpedition lunada, still holding strong around 5 years later!
