Hi new to this site,

I've been interested in bushcraft, archery for a while and have started thinking about preparing for the worst alot lately.

I've always had a fantasy of living wild, something deep down inside really craves to live in nature.

I've stayed in an eco village as a live in volunteer for a few months which really showed me living off grid doesn't have to be bare minimal.

However I really enjoy building out of what is around me

Who doesn't resonate with they're childhood, building dens?

I have also become half decent with a bow.
I have had lessons and practised hours a day.
Unfortunately due to the pandemic I havnt been able to go for months.

I love self sustainability, survival, permaculture.
I always read about such things.

So I have decided to come here to talk and share ideas with like minded people.

With the world at the moment, I have started to see how fragile we really are.

Not just the pandemic but the riots caused by people's perception of issues that are not really there.

The internet is full of properganda and deluding people.
I feel like something big is about to happen that will kill a lot of people.

If a world war doesn't happen, a war of the people will happen because of these movement colliding.

If I had land I'd be putting some series planning into action to build a bunker.

Welcome Wildman, I'm sure you'll find lots of interesting stuff on here.
I'm in my 60s but recently bought myself a kids bow and arrow set to practice with, gotta start somewhere eh! 😃

Hello Wildman, welcome to the forum. Permaculture is wonderful, have you managed to put any of the principles into practice? Have you kept up any of the skills and fitness from during your time as an eco volunteer? I well remember learning how to construct fences during a long weekend with BTCV :)

And hello from Basingstoke!
Read your post and agree with you.
Looking forward to learning and sharing.
Very interested in building localised support communities for “just in case”

You are spot on.
I've seen this though I have no way of verifying it
https://www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/f ... ead=154687
Old P.O.W camps in Kent are being rebuilt and refurbished..
I expect these will be for the survivors of the first of the series of disasters which are coming
When that event happens, you can expect the whole country to be put under martial law
It'll be lockdown on steroids
When it's over (and this is a multi-year series of events), someone has estimated that 5 to 10% of the UK population will be left
I can give you a link for a video where this is forecasted but when I start posting such info, I find my posting privileges get withdrawn right away.

You need to move away from Southampton urgently
