introduction

Post by old age prepper 70 »

Hi to you all, my name is Mike and am now 70 years young. My wife and I live in a rural part of north east Scotland with our two rescue dogs.I regard myself as a prepper, I have been collecting survival and prepping gear for maybe the last ten years. I have a reasonable stock of food and water, enough to last approx three months. I have two bugout bags ready to go.

Having read lots of post on various subjects on here, i realise i know very little and will be grateful for any help or critisisms you all deem fit.
I am prepping for a Brexit breakdown .

Welcome. May I ask, what scenarios do you prep for?
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Robert Frost.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.

Me.

Hi Mike welcome to the forum. It's good to know I'm not the only 70 year old on the sight. You live in rural north east Scotland and have your bug out bags ready? I suspect many others would think you're already in one of the best bug out locations in the whole of the UK. :)

Hi panther, I am fortunate to be surrounded by miles and miles of forest, so a choice of bugout location (if I so choose ) are readily available.
I have scouted out several potential sites.
My wife is disabled so initially it will be a bugin scenario.
