Hi ladies and germs...

I hate the intro's so I'll make it short and sweet.

I'm Manchester based, in one way or another I have been prepping my whole life as strange as that sounds. I've always known or suspected something(s) is going to happen and I need to be ready. My general philosophy in life, probably because of my upbringing is, rely on yourself only, prepare of the worst but hope for the best.

By trade I work in IT security/programming, I think this is because I instinctively see flaws and weaknesses in things and am quick at identifying them. This translates well to prepping also and I hope we can all learn from each other.

Speaking of which, I am in the process at the moment on making a video how people (who are not particularly technical) can backup there identifies, contacts, photos etc on a server and encrypted USB stick very easily within a few clicks so I'll post that on here when done - anyway, hi :D

Hello foxy, welcome to the forum. Encryption on usb sticks has passed me by, I'm afraid, especially as I tried and found I'd bought a dud stick (I was refunded, at least). I'll be interested to see what you post.
