Greetings from Suffolk

Post by GazB »

Hey all, I'm Gaz.
I'm living in the Suffolk area, been here a number of years with work.
I enjoy bushcraft and one of my goals is to get out more and hone my skills. Not long got back from Sweden where I went on a weeks bushcraft trip. Spent a week canoeing along the Harkin river, setting up tarps every night, making a fire, fishing and cooking. Really good experience. Oh and it was free. Went with work :D
As far as prepping goes, I have been prepping for a while storing food, water and a few supplies for any occasion and have a good rotation system in place. If I'm honest I have a soft spot for the idea of SHTF/Bug Out scenarios, so have some preps for that contingency but I'm not over the top. Some of the content out there online is in my opinion over the top, but each to their own. Although saying that, recent events around the world and indeed at home are lending themselves to that path of thought.
love to research and buy new kit, and will gladly give my feedback on any kit I have.
Just recently got a shot gun and getting into clay shooting. If anyone has any advice would be muchly appreciated.
I welcome any questions and look forward to chatting and adding my two penneth where I can.

Welcome to the forum, sounds like you know where you are with things. Have a nose around, loads of stuff on here to provoke thought.

Hi Gaz,

Enjoy the site, it's a great resource.

Have you tried High Lodge for your clay practice yet? They have a good set up and are a friendly bunch.
