Yet another Newbie

Post by Scanny »

Hi All,

Brief into about myself

I'm in my very early 50's from Gloucestershire, and have a bit of a prepping mindset, not so much a bugging out as where are we going to get proper "away" from it all in the UK after all, so I'm more inclined to Bugging in.

That said I like to have EDC and Go to Bag in-case I need to leave the house in a rush and have the essentials to get me through 72 hours, even if that's in a church hall/wood somewhere

And keep a just in case bag in the car should the need arrive as I'm away from work and cant get back, that I can keep warm, drink eat etc

I've had dealings with the outdoor from a young age with the usual Cub/Scouts/Venture Scout leader and 12 years in the TA as well as a fair bit of competition off road driving and navigating

Off for a gander

Many thanks for reading this

Regards

Scanny

Welcome to the forum.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Robert Frost.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.
