Hi from Essex

Post by Decaff »

Hi everyone. Took the plunge and joined after reading lots of posts from the sidelines!
I've always prepped as an adult, food was scarce growing up in a big family.
My own SHTF will be at the end of June when my job will be redundant due to relocation. I had started to prepp everyday items and have a years worth of toiletries stashed away.
Started on the food and have a cupboard full already which has been logged in excel for rotation and stock control purposes! Just myself, partner, son and mad cat to worry about although they think I'm a bit odd stashing things away...
Prepping saved my bacon over 15 years ago when I had to move away from my home with my son and give up my job my friends and all contacts excluding my family so I know that it works!!
Please forgive any stupid questions I ask!
Nice to be here with other like minded sensible people!!

Thanks everyone :P

Been reading lots and lots here for ages before joining so have good plans in place already. Just wish my OH would get his head round it too, if he discovers stash of tablets and lighters etc I think he may get me a jacket with very long sleeves or put me on suicide watch!! :? He copes OK with my girlie stuff stashes, candles and a few other bits so shouldn't complain really...
