Job loss

Post by Mad Scientist »

My job ended in June. I smiled and walked away like a queen with my shoulders back and head high, my enemies defeated. Having smelled it coming a mile off I saved up, fixed my car up, paid for a holiday (yahoo!). Saved up for over a year and joined forces with a friend to build a business of our own without telling anyone. Result? Instead of lying down on the preverbial toxic beach my employers had prepared and letting the brown stuff just wash all over me, I let them sabotage themselves and disappeared. Ha! My frugal lifestyle has yielded a turkey in the freezer (from hubby's work), prezzies under the tree, (bought much earlier), and a life free from bullies, clueless idiots and a narcissist. Me: 1 Chaos:0. Ha!
