Hello,

There's a course running to get the foundation license with a few spots still available on the 22nd and 29th October at the Bromley & District Amateur Radio Society (https://bdars.wordpress.com/) in case anyone else wants to get it. I'm going to be attending the course with a friend.

I'd like to do the foundation course but the local radio society contains a number of the wife's ex-husband's pals. I'm thinking of joining one in the next town along.

Just signed up to do the Advanced course with BADL , Bath distance learning, though got the Intermediate exam just after Christmas. Cannot recomend them enough, if you don't have a local club nearby, give them a try. Non profit club, and totaly focussed on getting new people on the air waves.

Not wasting my time with a Radio License and its 'regulated' test!
If the SHTF i will have no worries about transmitting.
