Post by easy rider »

Hello anyone have one of these crank, solar, light radios that can also charge in emergency a mobile phone.
Pros cons please and which what work well with longevity.
Seen some from China but don't have long wave.
Thanks

Quite a few of us here have the Degen DE13.

I've had one several years now and it's been backpacking, off to USA and France. It performs very well and is a robust and reliable little radio.I have added a wire antenna that improves shortwave reception in bad spots. It will do everything you ask, but does not have longwave.

Thank you , im sure i viewed these on fleebay from china.
Couldnt find much info but appreciate your recomendations.
I was unsure if longwave on the radio would be beneficial or not but im guessing not.
I especialy like the idea it can charge a mobile device, any thoughts or experiance with this ,did it work, was it safe to use without damaging phone.
Thanks again
