DIY stove - very simple

IKEA tea lights, at least 9. Take one old oven/grill shelf. Find 3 short lengths of wood, around 2" thick.
Lay these out in a triangle on the table/cooker top.
Light tealights and place in a circle inside the triangle.
Put oven shelf on top.
Boils a kettle in 20 minutes

:P Glad to see the really important things (tea) are covered :P

I keep meaning to get a kelly kettle but I'd so rarely use it I keep putting it off.

Bad prepper.

Naughty prepper.

they may not be the top of your list, but the kelly kettle's are way cool for boiling water with sticks.

A kellykettle is a great thing to have. The tealight one is just in an emergency if there's a powercut

I did something similar during the floods here, used a deep baking tray (one that you would cook a chicken in) put 5 tealights at one end and the same at the other then put cooling rack over it and cooked tinned food and boiled a camping kettle.

I can see a trip to Ikea on the cards, for half a hundredweight of tea lights!
