We found that we have 2 of us unable to eat eggs, 3 unable to eat potatoes, 3 unable to eat corn/maize/cornstarch and none of us are OK with wheat. Chicken and beef are also out but dairy is fine.
It was a shock to see the real impact of common goods on our health.
It has made for an interesting world as we come up with new recipes to work round it all and try to adjust the preps.

But it does explain why it isn't worth me growing new potatoes any more.
Ouch, thats a lot of stuff to avoid.

I don't think I could give up new potatoes even if they were one of the things that makes me ill

I must admit I read well cheesed off when I realised I would have to give new potatoes up.It
The corn has proved to be the worst though. It is found in so many foods including the gluten free pasta we had been eating. No custard, no GF flour or bread, most gluten free sausages, any canned foods with a sauce, Branston. It gets everywhere.
