Anyone growing winter crops?
Re: Anyone growing winter crops?
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.
Robert Frost.
Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.
Me.

Re: Anyone growing winter crops?
I'm reporting on the new variety of Autumn sown/cropping broad beans which I sowed end of July/start of Aug well they've been a roaring success and I reckon I can start to harvest them soon. Stacks of flowers still so hopefully a spread out harvest time too.
I have much bigger pods than I ever get on my spring sown ones and full of plump beans rather than one or two!
Most of the other autumn sown stuff is doing really well as its been so mild here.Got lettuce, mizuna, rocket, spinach, onions, overwintering sp onions, radish, late sowing of french beans still going.
Loads of grapes still to process yet and the autumn raspberries and everbearing strawberries are going well still.
