Tap water was allowed as an "exclusion" to the £1 per day. LOL :lol:

I'm on day 2 now on just rice and water - Saving the best till last.
Lessons for the Prepper in me:-

Rice goes a very long way.. 90g is a feast.
... But flavour, any flavour is essential. We need variety. Buy more flavourings.

Coffee is my number #1 essential that's taken for granted.
Alcohol is #2

There's definitely a need to stash much more oil and flour.

We have been buying our oils in 20 litre and 25 litre drums recently, it's surprising how much you get through, it was far less noticeable when we just opened another 1 litre bottle.

Also siphoning some off into one litre bottles and adding flavorings to infuse over time works well, garlic and chilli for example.
