We have been keeping chickens, geese, ducks and rabbits for around 3 years, all self taught with a bit of help from Mr YouTube, hardest part was killing what you had raised especially the rabbits but nothing beats a freezer full of home raised meat (it definitely tastes better and you know what it has been fed) and the eggs beat anything you can buy in a shop. Invested in an incubator this year to up our production on the bird front and we hope to obtain some quails in the new year. Next step for us is tanning the rabbit pelts but lost our breeding does this year due to freak weather so had to re think our breeding programme.
The more restrictions and prohibitions there are, the poorer the people will be.

How are you getting on with the chickens?

Did they all start laying in spring? Did you make them any more perches/toys? :)

Someone I knew said that they used to go out select a chicken and wring its neck as a child.
Keep calm & carry on PREPPING
