I need a lot of money so I can buy a lot of lamb... I like lamb and its dear enough already.

Jansman how long realistically should you keep meat in freezer?A year?
Not worried about powering the whole house,just eating hot food,getting a brew,seeing through the dark,and staying warm.

A year is about right. Mind you, back in the 80’s we were legally obliged to take European ‘Beef Mountain’ surpluses. Been frozen for 8 years! It was damned good stuff!
