Space saving idea.

Take a bleach bottle and take apart like this:

Drill holes in the bottom for drainage.

I pass a roof lath through the handles and hang them in my greenhouse. You could hang them from a fence. Fill with compost and grow strawberries, herbs, salad leaves...anything is possible.

It saves a lot of space on my greenhouse bench.

P.S Pics are the wrong way round , but I only just got the hang of it!

Thanks for that, I'm always looking for ways to make the best use of space in my greenhouse. I might try something like this against a bare wall, put some wood batons on the wall and hang these off them.

Not sure I'd grow anything edible in bleach bottles, to be honest. But the idea is sound.

Why?

Bleach breaks down to release Chlorine gas, exactly the same way that water purifying tablets do.

Its also used in industry to treat drinking water and for washing pre-packed salads.

Please forgive me if this is a lesson in egg-sucking.
