Here you go.http://www.verticalveg.org.uk and this one too ,a favourite of mine.https://www.container-gardening-for-food.com.

Container gardening can be quite productive too.

Not a lot going in at the moment save potted perennials like rhubarb (though it is the time to take cuttings of things like blackcurrants and gooseberries if you know someone who has bushes). There are a few early onions like Senshyu and Lisbon that you can sow now, but mostly onions will wait until the new year. In a month you can start planting garlic, that would work on a balcony. The sites Jansman has mentioned usually have calendars which tell you roughly what to plant when. This site: https://www.gardenfocused.co.uk/adjust-dates-uk.php allows you to put in your exact location and then the dates for sowing and harvesting on the site are tailored for your location. Here in London my optimal sowing/harvesting dates can be 4-6 weeks different from those up in Scotland. Then go to this page: https://www.gardenfocused.co.uk/calenda ... alised.php and select the veg you like to eat (best to grow what you eat!) and you'll get a personal sowing calendar.
