Rocket Stoves!!

Post by janso »

Was up at the Eden Project on Sunday and got chatting to a guy demonstrating one of these rocket stoves made from scrap materials.... quite good to see it working, which led me to look up resources online and found some interesting stuff!

Quite a lot of resources online.... it made me think of its potential as an outside cooking unit instead of a barbeque and more versatile... they had a rocket mass heater installed in the ice rink for people to sit on and keep warm as well last year which proved itself. The only downside I could reasonably see was the amount of timber it needed compared to a normal wood burner.

See what you think!! :D :D
