I know what you mean, and a horse truck is a good option as it is also not going to be obviously a BoV.

when i was a kid, and knight rider was on tv, i lived near a british rail depot, and they had these huge yellow lorries with a cabin on the back for workmen to have a brew and travel etc. i always fantasised of altering one of these to be like a mobile command station or something....odd boy.
looking back now itd be just as cool

It's the whole 'house wherever you go' thing. And that it looks like something it isn't. As said, the best way to hide is to do it in plain sight
