ooooh this is a goody and really has made me think!

paracetamol
iboprofen
amoxicillin
immodium
anti-histamines
erythromycin
ventolin/salbutamol
becotide / steroidal inhalers
basic ear drops
basic eye drops

I know the list will be ripped apart (along with the spelling) but it can only be of help to me so I'm braced for it!

Thanks Medicine Man! :)

just wondering about anti biotics.
as far as I know there are no over the counter anti biotics available so how on earth can we add them to a first aid kit? I added this question because of a history channel dramatization I watched a while ago. it was a what if scenario armageddon type thing based around an ordinary family. who make it through lots of trails and tribulations. whilst wondering across america. they finally end up in what amounts to a wild west town. and after all that. the father in the family dies of infection sustained from a cut they had theoretically survived everything. but lack of anti biotics cost a life which would have been saved by anti biotics.

Theres a thread elsewhere here on this topic discussing exactly this. Basically, yes it the same stuff, but it is theoretically illegal to go this route... buyer beware.
