I keep a roll with my FAK, short length of gunline through the middle and tied to the bag. Never had to use it in anger fortunately but had a play and serves a purpose.

Well I smashed my shin on a drop tail on a mower trailer on Friday...

Blood pouring into my boot ..

Used a standard first aid dressing at work from my EDC (rather use my own kit) got home removed it and it took the scab off.

Redressed with the above just removed it after 24 hours it didn't move or creep does the job :)
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)

Lack of planning on your part doesn't make it an emergency on mine
