My EDC FAK (Revised)

Post by ChefSimon »

As a part of condensing all my preps so I'm not carrying everything including the kitchen sink with me I've revised my EDC FAK and thought I would share it with you.

Due to this site not linking me writing larger posts I've done it as a series of pictures, click on the picture to view it in a larger view and read the text.

As always I enjoy your feedback, thoughts and views. I'm nowhere near perfect and whilst taking advice from this group on 'best practice' I've tried to fit my kit to my environment and needs.

Thanks for reading.

You copied my kit ;)

I dumped the trauma scissors for some generic first aid scissors. Supposed nurses scissors would be more compact

No eye pad but burns dressing has 101 uses from damping with water for burns or packing wounds or folding to make a eye pad

Triangular bandage and a impressed windlass for a DIY cat

Little grip bag has 4 wet wipes a mix of plasters and a mini tube bandage for fingers...
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)

Lack of planning on your part doesn't make it an emergency on mine
