security hardening a metal garage door

I like a lot of people have a metal up and over garage door. These are very easy to break through.
1, aim for the single lock pin or the side lock pins
2, break the spine of the door by lifting the unsecured bottom half against the top half thats locked
3, reverse a car into it
4, do a Michael Cane to it
now whilst there is not alot you can do against 3 and 4
one and two are a lot easier to have go at
to reinforce the locking pins you need to add strength to the door and a more robust pin and spring system.
to prevent the door being attacked the idea i had was to add some strength to the sides to prevent it being folded out against the strength of the new lock bolts
what i wanted to do was to add some aluminium sides to the door edge and strengtheners to the door skin to help it along the way. if posible if it could also have some form of angle shape then even more strengh is produced.
heres my door now
tiny rivets are all thats visable on the outside and these have been painted as well
an aluminium z profile from work in alli riveted to the inside edge
full length to aid strengh
reinforcement plates to help the stronger roller pin fixed in place before the extra side piece
