Preemptive strike on a armed suspect take the fight out of them before they have the opportunity to fight those battons really do "sting"

I like, but was rather surprised by how the police attracted his attention... With a baton blow to the legs.
Imagine the same scenario if your house is the last one with food supplies, electricity and phones have been off for a month and the police are just as likely to be the ones breaking in.
Boil up some oil on your rocket stove? drop a petrol bomb onto the patio? confront him/them with some cutlery?

Years ago that would have been the portable TV dropped sadly the demise of CRT TV's those LCD units are just not heavy enough
And you don't see bed side teas maids any more either :(

Wonder if the occupier filming them from upstairs had a plan b as he almost got in....

Sadly it's illegal to arm yourself "permptively" although a sock of loose change to hide it from the Mrs ;) or a maglite torch at night are handy items to have
