Zones

Post by LJM1310 »

What Zone or district is my town in? I see a lot of peoples signatures saying they're in zone one or zone 15, is there a map of the zones and can somebody refer me to it please?

The Zones were used for the Emergency Network. A great idea in my mind, but an absolute pain to co-ordinate and is now non-viable.
However, here is a list of Zones should you want to use them.
Area 1: Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorest, Wiltshire.
Area 2: Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Bucks.
Area 3: Surrey, Sussex, Kent.
Area 4:Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk.
Area 5: Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire.
Area 6: Lincolnshire, Rutland, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire.
Area 7: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Shropshire, including Birmingham/W.Midlands
Area 8: South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire.
Area 9: Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire, Staffordshire.
Area 10: North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Durham, Northumberland.
Area 11: Scotland
Area 12: Wales.
Area 13: Northern Ireland.
I hope that helps
