gaz-gunner,
I don't know if you already know but next weekend 23rd June - 26th June is Funkly Preppers summer preppers meet @ Church Farm Ardeley.
There should be 300 + preppers/survivalists there and I'm sure you could make solid contacts with people near to your location just by mingling and chatting.
It's a good camp as they let you have a real fire in either the woodlands or the field.
Here's the link in case you're interested;

As a prepper living in deepest Norfolk I must object to the previous remarks...... the truth, when it's said, really hurts! :?

Anyway we don't play banjos. We play the spoons and the washboard, and we're really good at clog dancing but :lol: not the banjo.
There may be trouble ahead
But while there's moonlight and music
And love and romance
Let's face the music and dance
