Re: Campervan Living

Post by DustyDog »

Have not done it myself, but read a story in the news a good while back, where a family did this (mum, dad and two sprogs) they drove all over Europe and down to Australia, took them a year but they reckoned the experience the kids had seeing all the different cultures etc was worth the year of school they missed. Either way, make sure you all enjoy it and make the most of it. Would love to try myself one day.

Sorry i seem to have written two comments on this, oh well.

My mum has just recently bought a huge Mercedes Benz campervan with is classed as an LGV. Just as luxurious as living at home plus it came with solar panels and charge controller so you have electricity. All you need to do is fill fresh water and diesel and empty the toilet from time to time.

If I had the chance I would go for it
