Wulfshead, I think it sounds amazing. As you said, the problem of a more restricted set of things that you could grow are outweighed by the larger amount of land and availability of hunting, wood and mushrooming.

The opportunity to have a custom built property sounds great too.

The medical issue and isolation seem to the main downsides - would be be possible for more friends to move there, perhaps someone with medical experience? Do you have other family members that would be interested, perhaps?
