Handy for repelling the zombie hordes, it would probably be better to fire in bursts though to conserve ammunition, after all if you already put 10 bullets into it the next 40 before it hits the floor are just overkill.

Yes agreed even if it is just sci fi. Going through the comments someone said something similar and a reply was that the guns are motion sensitive and fire at moving targets. Thus if the first ten rounds don't kill the evil alien monster the gun will carry on firing. Bigger ammo boxes might help too.

Just the thing when you come home rat-arsed and forget to turn it off.. Forgetting the burgler alarm is one thing, forgetting the 20 ceiling mounted machine guns with million round ammo boxes could be a bit trickier...
