Wish I'd seen this before mate, I ended up passing along to friends my 3 mode cheapy cree's and replacing them with single modes. Still got a few so I might have a play, thanks for posting the link.

Yeah will try that, I’ve got a few of them type to make mistakes with and have all the soldering gear.

I mean blinding strobe!!!!

Great wee thing, handheld but I have 5 mini LED el cheapos just to have. Not in EDC but in kit.
