I'll definitely go there - they're redoing their website, so I can't even scout it out beforehand. I've been looking at Lakeland, but they don't have this specific one, and anyway, I *know* them, and I've not been to Divertimenti. It has great reviews, by the way.

Divertimenti is the number one store for me to visit, but I probably won't be buying an oyster knife just now. In packing up my kitchen ready for the renovation, I found a fish slice - something slice, anyway - that looks practically identical, except it doesn't have the hand guard. I'll put a pic on here when I can.

My oyster knife is probably the least used thing in my kitchen to be honest, I use my sandwich toaster more often! :)

Fair dos then, thanks Jamesey! I felt a bit bad writing that, after your taking the time and effort to write about it, but its only right to say what happened in the end!
