Anyone here use thermal or night vision here? Some great kit out there!
I personally have a few bits of gear which are a joy to use.

I have a couple of toys, one being the Mk1 ATN 5x18 day and night scope. Great as a handheld spotter for capturing and recording wildlife out on walks. Thirsty on the juice but easily overcome.

Im in the process of saving up, but undecided what to get yet. As you say, there is some interesting kit out there to choose from.

I have a Gen 1 Night vison monocular, purchased 19/20 years ago, still works fine, in NV or IR modes.
Surpassed in quality of todays models but, aren't we all?

Good link. The range / selection of Gen 2 equipment under £2000 is quite varied these days. Under £1000 Gen 1 stuff even more so. I am trying to budget around £1500 for a (Branded?) scope with illuminator and there is a decent choice out there.
