Help sought on rechargeable PV LED solar lanterns
Re: Help sought on rechargeable PV LED solar lanterns
I also have camping LED lanterns, battery and wind up.LED is great,as the power draw is so low.Regarding the OP,just chuck in a solar charger and appropriate batteries, and you are good to go.

Why not add in a pedal power charger as well?

I'm sure there are cheaper options out there though.
I bet some clever people could even design/build their own.....

Thinking ahead to next Winter - I bought a few of of these to try at 50p each though haven't thought where to keep them so as not to lose them! https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01LW6NWNQ Portable USB Night Light Mini LED Lamp
Re: Help sought on rechargeable PV LED solar lanterns
I have various battery powered torches scattered around the house, I've candles too, two dynamo powered lanterns and a philips lifelight
I really like the lifelight as (1) it comes with a solar panel & (2) I can charge other stuff off it too as the lamp has a usb output (phone obviously and one of my torches can be charged by USB.
