Yeah, what would I know. I live outdoors, in all weathers. My bad, maybe 1980 style waxed cotton is the way forward. What was I thinking....Let me check with my wife, she's been living outdoors for over a year, she might know a thing or two......

Oh. Her Barbour is in storage. She says extreme cold weather, Alpha Industries, no debate. Average UK autumn and winter, Deerhunter FTW.

Trust me, it is best not to argue with Mrs B.

You're being an arse.

I don't care what your Mrs thinks, if she wants to give her opinion she can join and do so.

I like Barbour, I have told you why, stop telling me that I shouldn't because you like something else.

New gamefair maybe, old gamefair, big pockets, as I said in my first post before you started talking about breathability.

You can still get them as new old stock if you look hard enough.

Could we try and have a bit of civility towards each other please? I don't want to have a lock a thread over some stupid exuberance of testosterone. Thanks.

Oh ffs.

Here's a radical idea. Why doesn't each of us just buy the coat that he or she wants and all play nicely, eh?
