Easy to make Crusader lids

Post by Third-Degree-Witch »

I was shocked at the overpriced metal crusader mug lids out there on the web. so...bought some 1mm aluminium sheet , traced around the top of mug , then cut out the shape, adding about 3/8 of an inch all the way around....then a simple bendy bend bend with a pair of pliars....sorted, going to add an antler toggle and that'll be it....total cost for 2 lids = £1

Nice work. Any money you can save you can put towards other preps. Do you have any pics you can share?
