My new SOG Paratool

Post by dangerman »

I just got this from the US while visiting, UK legal carry multi-tool that I'm planning on putting into my EDC.

It's a nice looking thing. But I was a little disappointed with the feel of it after holding my Gerber Suspension - it feels tinny compared. That said, it is much smaller and lighter - deliberately so. It feels cheaper too because the Suspension has spring loaded pliers, this one doesn't and so just feels stiff.

The folding anglified pliers were what I bought it for, I thought that it would have much more versatility when it comes to reach and things. I suppose only time will tell when it comes to quality - but I'm very happy with it's selection of tools. Especially the screwdrivers - both philips and flat heads. The knife feels nice and sharp too - but what doesn't when it's brand new, eh?

I paid £30 for it and so I think it's a bargain. Happy! :)
I love motorcycles like a fat guy loves cake. I also love cake.
