$5 Solar Lamp - BBC News

Post by FlashPan »

Hi all,

Just been reading this:

http://www.bbc.com/news/business-39997859

The UK website is selling for £10 (but with no strap).

I wonder how this compares with other solar lamps? I've been reading the spec sheet and the battery is designed to charge/work for 3 years every day - which sounds pretty good to me. Sad thing though it is not designed to be replaced.

Cheers
