Just look at the dimensions of ALL parts of the knife, not just the cutting blade.

The handle is huge and the depth of the blade is also big, it really is a big blade.

It's not comfortable to hold.

It doesn't fit comfortably in your pocket with other items.

And despite being EDC legal, the design doesn't send the right message to the police if you do happen to be stopped.

But yes at less than £15 it's as cheap as chips, but there are much better knives around.

This is obviously only my opinion ;) Others WILL disagree........ :D

Could somebody explain to me what 'slip-joint' refers to?

Thanks, what I would consider to be ordinary non-locking then.

This country must have a higher proportion of people with less than ten fingers compared with the rest of the world.

I bought this on a whim (it has had less than positive reviews) as its on offer (even less with the British Blades discount code) http://www.heinnie.com/crkt-edgie-self-sharpening-knife, and its my most carried knife , Wharncliffe blade so non threatening, nice handle material and love the self sharpening idea , which makes it a carry and forget knife. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a cheap legal EDC who is not that interested in the black arts of knife sharpening :D

I have the Lansky & I like it. :D

Perhaps it just fits my hand better than others who are complaining about its size, I also like the blade thickness which gives you some confidence in the blade when performing some tasks.

It won't be to everyones taste but each to their own.

Just a heads up, if you're after a relatively low cost UK legal folding knife, then Heinnie have the Liong Mah on sale at half price. £17.99
