Hope you get reimbursed by the Zafira owner, its the least they could do.

I dumped 3x2kg dry powder units under the bonnet of a burning car a couple of years ago. The owner of the car never even offered. My primary concern was my neighbour’s front window, which is situated right against the pavement. People are so selfish. I would have offered money immediately; but I am the kind of guy who is always first to buy a round.

I always pay my way. ;) Being a freeloading tightwad is not a good attribute imo. It was lucky your lady was equipped with an extinguisher.

Get your mind out the gutter lil

Must admit I like the ANAF (not anal! Lil) extinguishers. The handles are resin / plastic so don't rattle in the car. The pin can but it's nothing a fire extinguisher pull tie can't solve ....

They are aluminium so don't rust they are billed as refillable but a ex extinguisher service agent friend hasnt got the special nitrogen fitting to do it (that said its cheaper to buy a new one. ...)

You can always take your backside extinguisher to dragons den for that post curry burn

Going to go through all my tinned foods and get them sorted and make room for new stuff. It’s a new year so time to get my prepping sorted been very lax the last year, spending all spare time van converting.
Hi mate, glad things are progressing, the offer of a visit up to sunny Scotland is still there if you fancy it.

I agree as we discussed the other day about neighbors In the what would you do thread.... It's no hardship to show a little appreciation good few years back I stopped at a breakdown guy fell into the road Infront of me he couldn't undo the wheel bolts ... Cut a long story short put on amber beacons and road flares round both our cars had a lookout ( new ish date aka Mrs a ) big breaker bar and a bit of heft (the bar flexed) and they cracked ..... We helped them get the wheel off spare on.... All the time in broken English ... We have no money. . Don't worry... Once done and clearing up the flares I had 2 cans of super strength polish beer thrust in my hand from his boot....
