Fishing is proper sensible preppery type stuff. I am a disgrace to preppers. But I am testing my jellybaby stash as we speak. 8-)

I don't consider fishing to be 'preppery',it's FUN! :D I also like jellybabies!

Tonight I've done the unthinkable I've stripped my car boot :shock:

And sat down and thought sensibly about what I need first aid kit has been drastically shrunk to a large Scandinavian bag from a holdall...

Basing it loosely on the British standard large car kit... Adding celox extra trauma dressings, tweezers, sterei strips, eyewash 20ml shots ,

Dumped the jetboil and rations (until winter sets in)

Reduced the tool kit to the basics screwdriver set spanners pliers (modern cars are unfixable roadside most times anyway) oil bulb kit... Tow rope, jump leads, fire extinguisher , high vis vests

Must have removed 25kg of "crap" the suspension looks far more relaxed now :/

THE WORLD HAS ENDED ......

burst water main 4 streets away 2 streets with no water few with a trickle... Ours is brown as it comes out of the tap.....

Just passed Asda there was a convoy of trolleys exiting with bottled water........

Me I visited our pantry....
