As I tend to work outdoors and in people's gardens I prefer not to go into their houses to use the toilet for fear of tramping in dirt and muck so I keep a bottle in the van . A bucket is ideal , I have used the regular plastic milk bottles but yes the opening is on the small side and I have had the odd "accident" hence why I prefer a bucket. Best bottle I've found is the larger innocent smoothy ones , has a much wider opening than the milk bottles , https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shop/gb/gr ... juice-135l only problem is that they fill up a tad quickly
While on one hand I can't believe I'm discussing this I suppose I should also point out that once it's in a bottle it's then easy to bring it home for use on compost heaps and in the garden .

I keep a fair bit of mine for use on home and allotment compost heaps and as a dilute high-nitrogen fertiliser early in the season.

Allegedly male pee sprinkled around your garden perimeter deters foxes. The same is not true for female pee. So definitely save it and bring it home guys! :D

Allegedly is the word. I've used liberal amounts of mine around the garden and we have on a number of occasions watched a fox going around and even climbing into one compost heap , presumably looking for mice or whatever. Perhaps our fox has a dodgy nose :D .

While I've been known to go off topic, this thread has taken a turn for the peculiar.

My old man was using one of these when he was caught short.

And there's the shewee https://www.shewee.com/ apparently now with a "peebol"

Of course, the other really good reason for using something like this in a gridlock jam is that the verges of the road, or maybe the bits immediately beyond the verges, will not be good places to step on or have your clothes drape over as you do your own business. Especially when the jams are 12 hours long or more.

Shewee's are fine if you are well versed in their use. However, I would not want to rely on one in the confines of a car. It could get very messy. Don't ask how I know, I just do.
Personally, I would forego a bit of privacy and squat behind a car door.
