Its all coming flooding back now.....

I'll get some dehydrating done this weekend and there's a few things I could do with replenishing so a trip to a supermarket is on the cards. More grafting up the allotment tomorrow too. All very mundane but needs doing.

It was a good job the undead hordes didn't pick this morning for their return, we had the dogs out at a wood about 15 miles away and I forgot to put my GHB in the back of the car..... :o

Spatula bruise the lemon slice
Whisk blend your G&T
Spaghetti strainer Olive picker upper
Ladle measure your Gin/vodka/Tonic
Tongs Drop your ice

Or just leave the rest at home and just take the spatula and tongs.

Long overdue job done - heavy curtains hung this morning for downstairs. Phew, need a break before I do the rest of the house!

Cleared courgette and pumpkin beds now the heavy frost has killed the plants; added compost and covered with weed suppressing membrane ready for planting up next year.
Stocked up on supermarket staples. OH bought more hay as the council are closing the main road to our nearest supplier (and supermarket) for the next 4 weeks - weekdays only but prepping makes it easier as you don't run out of milk midweek.
Also started Cxxxxxmas shopping at the local village craft fair (but the tub of "Celebrations" I won on the tombola will be eaten long before then).

Am I the only one who looks at this and sees, a mini billy, a twig burner, a handled plate and a massive drinking mug?
I'd go and check it out, but my nearest branch is 133 km away

BTW: You're all allowed to use the "C" word now (as long as its related to shopping only) as its November...... But anyone who sings carols will get the rough side of my tongue :x
