Re: Defib finder
Great way of using obvious landmarks as storage for lifesaving defibs. The school I work at has a couple as well, batteries regularly checked.

Re: Defib finder
Crikey that’s just shocking! It’s so frightening that the NHS is crumbling like this. So few people know first aid, too. I always remember the day that motivated me to start training: I was having coffee with a friend in a cafe. It was almost empty, the lunchtime crowds long departed. Suddenly there...

Next door’s damsons are nearly ready. One of their trees hangs into our garden and they always let us pick plenty. Jam and crumble hear I come! I’ll give them a plate of my lavender biscuits in return. Happy days. Blackberries and Hawthorns are ripe so off picking soon.

Re: Consultation on transitional arrangements for edible insects in Great Britain
As long as the insects were raised in a hygienic environment and fed correctly I would try a few different things. I’ll try most reasonable things once. Nothing will replace a good Sunday dinner though!

My brother, who was a bit too fond of a drink, had flu some years ago. He was very ill and after a short spell in hospital I took him him one and gave him tinctures of liquorice to support kidney and adrenal function, milk thistle for liver function lots of water and some strong vitamin pills. A few...

Well done, Jansman. I have serious garden and rabbit envy. My hubby won’t let me keep food rabbits I’ll have to get an allotment that allows them.

That’s amazing! Coming from a scientific background I must confess to a long history of healthy skepticism of some alternative therapies but haven’t had any experience of acupuncture myself but I’m quite happy to read more about it and listen to people’s experiences. Keeping an open mind.

Re: Health. Self help.
Several years ago I studied a Herbal Medicine course in Bristol. The guy who ran it manages an apothecary there, he’s an absolute genius and I loved the course. Trying to grow a bit of a herbal garden too. I’m really glad that plenty of folk still make herbal remedies. Love the legend of The Four Th...

Someone I used to work with used to keep breeding rabbits in a big shed and dispatched, skinned them and prepared their pelts. Made quite a tidy sum by all accounts.

Re: Got a solar generator
I’m really interested in getting more solar powered gear. We have a gas cooker and fire so those are ok but as for lighting and general power one of those generators would be ideal! Thank you for sharing!
